(995) Macros - Multiple functions to single button

The macro will be invoked in all device modes. See also 978 for single device macros.

Single macro buttons

  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  2. TAP 9 - 9 - 5, two flashes.
  3. TAP the key that you want the Macro to be on.
  4. TAP the sequence of keys you want the remote to do (up to 15 keys)
  5. TAP "SETUP" and wait for two blinks - RELEASE.

When you hit the key you put the macro on it will automatically start the sequence.

NOTES:

  • Macros can be assigned to any button, just remember that the macro will be assigned to this button in all device modes.
  • If you placed a macro on a button that you wish to restore to its original function under certain device modes, you can re-program the button using the advanced codes.
  • Macros cannot be programmed to the device buttons or the SETUP button.

Multimacro buttons

These buttons (e.g. OnDemand) allow the user to record several macros by repeating the above single macro procedure. The multimacro key can hold up to 5 macros. Each time you TAP it, the next macro runs. Macro size varies with remotes.

Clearing macros

  2. TAP 9 - 9 - 5, two flashes.
  3. TAP the key that you want to clear the Macro from.
  4. TAP "SETUP" and wait for two blinks - RELEASE.
