Six-In-One Remote Control (15-1905) How It Works Faxback Doc. # 6659

Before you begin to use the 6-in-1, it is helpful to understand a little
about how it works-nothing technical-just an idea of what you can expect
from the 6-in-1.

After you set up the 6-in-1, its command keys work like the keys on your
original remote controls, though the labeling might slightly differ. For
example - a key on your original remote control labeled POWER ON/OFF is
equivalent to the 6-in-1's POWER key.

Note: Whenever you use the 6-in-1's RECORD key, you must press it twice.
This safety feature helps prevent accidental erasure of audio or
       video tapes.

When you use the 6-in-1 to replace extremely complex remote controls, the
6-in-1 might not have all the keys of the original remote control. But,
in most cases, the 6-in-1 can duplicate many commonly-used commands from
the original remote controls

The "A,B, and C" keys at the bottom of the 6-in-1 are special keys that
you use when you set up the 6-in-1 to replace your original remote
controls.

The TV, CABLE, VCR, CD, AUX 1, AUX 2, and Plug 'n Power keys are device
keys. You will use them when you set up the 6-in-1 to replace your
original remote controls. You also use the device keys during normal
operation to tell the 6-in-1 which device you want to control.

Note: If you want to use the 6-in-1 with your cable box, the cable box
might require remote control activation. Check with your cable
       company.
