Programming To use your VCR Programmer with your VCR and cable converter (or satellite receiver), you must perform some simple programming after installing the batteries (not supplied). For best results, please read and perform all instructions in this manual. Keep these instructions for future reference. Your Programmer has the following controls, which will be explained in detail at other locations in this manual. UNLOCK - Use to begin the record programming sequence or to cancel a previously programmed event. DAY - Use to set the day of the event you wish to program and to set the clock. START TIME - HOUR (+/-) - Use to program the start time of the event you and MINUTE (+/-) wish to program and to set the clock. RECORD LENGTH - Use to choose the length of the event you wish to program (30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes, or until the tape runs out). CHANNEL - VCR (+/-) and - Use to choose the channel of the event you wish CBL (+/-) to program. Also use them for menu navigation during clock setup and ID programming. LOCK - Use to save your programmed event, or to reactivate an event you have disabled. CLOCK SET - Use to set the current day and time and to program device IDs.
