To Operate Other Devices

In addition to the labeled devices (TV, VCR, CD, CBL, SAT, or AUX), the 
6-in-One can also operate laser disc players (LDP), cassette decks, 
Digital Audio Tape (DAT) players, video accessories, and miscellaneous 
audio devices (graphic equalizers and digital audio service terminals, for 
example).

To access device codes for:            Use:

Laser Disc Players, Cassette Decks, 
Digital Audio Tape Players ........... VCR 

Video Accessories .................... CBL

Miscellaneous Audio .................. AUX

Home Automation ...................... PLUG `N POWER

For example, to set up a laser disc player:

1.  Turn on your laser disc player and insert a disc.
 
2.  Press VCR.
 
3.  Hold down SETUP until TIMED SEQ appears.
 
4.  Press MENU \/.  CODE SETUP appears.
 
5.  Repeatedly press SELECT until VCR appears.
 
6.  Press MENU /\ or MENU \/ toggle between VCR, LDP, TAPE and DAT.
 
7.  When LDP appears, enter the first code listed for your laser disc 
    player's brand in "Setup Codes for Laser Disc Players" below and press
    SELECT.
 
8.  Point the remote at the laser disc player and press POWER.  Your laser
    disc player should turn off.  If it does not, enter the next code in
    the code list and press SELECT then POWER again.  When the laser disc
    player turns off, press ESC to stop programming.
