slingbox for toshiba w528 vcr?

ive chatted with a number of slingbox people and at the end of trying to get my slingbox remote to work they usually just come up with "..your vcr is using a different code, would you like me to setup another device?"..which needless to say dosent help. 1.) my ir blasters work 2.) my blasters work 3.) i know where my sensor is inside the vcr..i even cracked the glass open to make sure. HELP!
