I am not new to this because I have been sucessfully using IR and KM/RM to program my remote for 4 years. But recently I got a new TV so I decided to download the latest and greatest IR and RM programs and start from scratch. The problem is when I load up IR and check the interface a box comes up and says "Failed to open JP1.x interface." The RDF's are recoginized but it won't allow me to download my current codes from my remote which is where I want to start my upgrade. The IR program worked fine the other day before I decided to try the newest version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Are you really trying to do a JP1.x? That's a realatively new type of support. If you have been doing this a long time, chances are you want to select JP1.
In IR Select interface off the menu and select the appropriate cable. |

Thank You. This is new with this version of IR. I think I'll have another beer and try it again. Once again. Thanks! |
