That was my doing. The way I see it, UEI only intended this protocol to work with 144.0, 144.1, 128.0 and possibly 128.1 device codes, and that is how the help display describes the protocol in KM. So, I figured why confuse things by asking the user to enter device codes and potentially get them wrong, so let's just force them to use the defaults.johnsfine wrote:I was surprised at the change to the VCR Combo protocol. In 8.06 it let you input the main device and subdevice (of course it didn't create a correct upgrade for those three remotes). In 8.07 it doesn't let you input any device or subdevice for Panasonic VCR combo, in either the new or old versions. I assume it generates a correct upgrade for 144.0/128.1 but I didn't check.
Mark already has full site admin privileges here.usblipitor wrote:[butting in where I don't belong]
Rob - how do the phpBB priveledges work? I think you should give Mark rights to making these posts into "announcements" (and anyone else actively working on JP1 stuff). Apologies to Rob if this has already been considered. Apologies anyway for not minding my own business. 8)

Yeah, blame it all on Rob!The Robman wrote:That was my doing.
The new Panasonic Mixed Combo isn't in KM yet, but the change to allow up to 6 device/parm entries was done in anticipation of doing so.I didn't check if Mark added support for the full featured combo version yet, but it is our intent to do so.
