1. Device: Harman Kardon DVD31
2. Type of device: DVD Player
3. Year: ~2005
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-9910
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? Yes. I learned all of the commands and built an upgrade. I have uploaded it to the files section under DVD as HK_DVD31. I thought I had done everything correctly, but with this upgrade loaded my remote does not operate the DVD player at all. Re-learning the commands and comparing them to the upgrage confirm that all were entered properly. Please tell me what I have done wrong.

Thank you!

Provide links to any files you want looked at.

In addition to the upgrade you built, it is likely to be helpful if you provide the IR file with your learned signals, and te IR file with you upgrade installed.

I'm sorry , but I can't seem to figure out how to attach files. I'd be more than happy to email them though.

Attach? No, just save your the 2 IR files I mentioned. Then upload them to the diagnosis area just like your upgrade file is uploaded to the upgrade area, and provide the links.

Sorry, me a little slow.

Here's the file with the upgrade on there (but not working) and several of the learned functions, which are working.

On the Setup sheet in KM, delete the "0" entered in the "Parm (hex)" field. It should be using the default (20).

When you upload the revised upgrade to the remote, make sure to delete the learned signals so they don't conflict (override actually) the upgrade.
