3. Year: 2007
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-8810
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? Yes
10. Learning remote question? No

Hi , i have been reading in the upgrades section and found several coolsat 7000 upgrade files which i have successfully downloaded to my remote.
There are 2 buttons that do not appear on the Upgrades i have downloaded from the files section and they are:

Arrow C.C. (Closed Caption Button)
Arrow EJECT (Triangle shape Button To watch the recorded programs located between FAV and EXIT buttons)

Idea Can someone help me out and post the EFC or OBC codes for these 2 buttons?

Thank you

Have you tried learning them from the OEM remote? Even though you answered NO to question #10, I'm pretty sure the 8810 is a learning remote.

The learning function on my remote went bye bye way long ago. I asked for help back then but no one could give me any ideas on how to bring this function back to life.

Thank you

OK, then, try a Code Search. Have you taken a look at the upgrade file(s) you are using? In RM's functions page, you can sort by OBC or in KM, you can look at the Code List worksheet in KM (select "OBC") and identify obvious gaps in OBCs that may be worth trying to see if you can find which OBC you need.

Did you do a 981 reset of the remote (after saving the current configuration in IR) and then try learning?

Found the codes just as you said Mark, looking for "gaps" in the OBC codes thank you, ill post the files in the proper section.
On the other hand. i did try the 981 reset with no luck it looks like it was "blind" with no ability to see any IR signals.

Regards
