This is the one with the red and green Tivo-like buttons on it.. and it has no pins.

The forum mentions a 2k eprom and pin block.. pinblock I can do, build my own cable I can do.. is there a particular part # on the eprom?

Or a how-to posted somewhere on doing my own mod?

What a pain in the butt..
It seems that nowhere local stocks these that I can find, and a $.50 part is gonna cost me at least $6 to ship.
