Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum and after reading so much, i am getting interested in this infrared thingy. I wanted my remote control to be able to control my external creative (USB) sound blaster Live! 24 bit device as I do not have the remote control for that. How should I go about it ? I want to program so many things in here (air con, fan, etc) but i guess i have to start from the basic. I am overloaded by all the info provided. Is there any kind soul(s) out there tell me how do i get started ?
Thanks,
Aaron |

If this remote is similar to the URC-8305, you'll have to open up the remote to expose the 6 pads to get access to the JP1.2 pins. You'll also need a JP1.2 cable.
The only other way to upload upgrades into the remote is via the built-in modem and WAV files. |
