JP1 Remotes

I just bought an Element LCD TV made by Polaroid for Circuit City. I have a Motorola Cable box from my cable company (Insight) to provide me with HDTV and it has a single DVR. The universal remote that came with the cable box had a guide that lists the many tv codes but has no listing for Element tvs since it is new to the market. IF ANYONE HAS A CODE THAT WILL LET THE CABLE BOX REMOTE CONTROL THE POWER AND VOLUME OF THE TV I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

I would have if there was a Polaroid code available.

There are 7 Polaroid TV upgrades at the top of page 2 of the TV upgrade code section. Have you tried any of those?

Edit: I just re-read your data. You need to get a JP1 cable to use those codes, but I don't know anything about your remote. Is it JP1 or JP1.2 or is it upgradeable at all?

Some polaroids respond to code 0463, others the toshiba codes, and most the mitsubishi tv codes.
