hi ,

i made a .bin file for my receiver using the rm software to work with my american slingbox .

the problem is that when i sent this .bin to my friend who has the same receiver but have the european slingbox the code didn't work and it says "operation failed Error 0x9326001 .

my question : shouldn't all the bin created with rm that worked on the american slingbox work on the european version ?

thanks.

There is a different RDF for the UK (PAL) slingboxes. (each remote model has it's own RDF; it's the same for the Singboxes)

In the remote dropdown, you would select the "RV" type before you export the .bin. That should work. If he has RM installed he can do it also by importing the .bin; changing the type to RV and exporting it back out again. That should work also.

It is in the latest RDF distribution ZIP file in the file/tools/Main section linked above. You are looking for RFF version 1.26

Check RM's Help, About to see where it is looking for the RDF's (RDFs loaded from...) and make sure you copied your Slingbox RDF's to that same folder.

thanks Mark . it worked fine and i created a RV .bin file .

but the problem is that the code is not working with my friend's european slingbox although we ( me and him ) have identical receivers and i've sent him the same code i am using .

why is this happening ?

Maybe we should look at the upgrades themselves, could you post links to them. Let's see the RMDU files and the BIN files.
