Problem with old OFA Remote URC-6800 "VCR-PRO 8"

Hello,

the Problem is, that the Display shoes "Factory Service Required" if i put in the batteries. The internal LiOn-Cell is full.
I tried the reset methods described in the hifi-forum but it didn't work.

I were very pleased if somebody can help me to get the remote to work.

There's nothing more that can be done with this remote, it's due for the trash. This particular model of remote has a Y2K bug in it which causes it to stop working sometime around 2002 (for some odd reason). Once you get the factory service message, it's a dead remote.
