These RDF's are compliant with IR Version 6 & 7 and RemoteMaster(RM) V1.70 or greater
NOTE: KM does not require RDF's

RDF's for RM and IR

NOTE: If you are using the above set of RDF's with RM you will need this full set of Maps and Images below.

Full set of RM Maps and Images

All Maps and Images for RemoteMaster

CHANGES:
1) Added all the jp1.2 RDF's that are functional.
2) Added Maps and Images for jp1.2 remotes.
3) Added a number of Slingbox RDF's
4) Fixed a number of errors that were found since the last update.

You can selectively add the RDF's, Maps and Images you require however, if you choose to replace all, first remove and backup your old ones to eliminate conflicts with name changes.

NOTE: If you find any problems please let me know and I will update ASAP

I have just added the Device Combiner entry to a bunch of RDFs and have added them to the main zip file.

RDFs modified include...
ATL0ATL0
CA48C480
EBX0EBV0
ECL0ECO0
EKA1EKA1
EKA4EKA0
EMAIEMA0
EM60EM60
ETPSTPS0
GI2KG2K0
OEM4OEM0
OK60OK60
OLVAOLV0
RS80RSx1
SBPASBa1
SBPASBb1
T6D0T6D0

I also added in some of the newer RDFs from the file section, such as...
DIG0DIG0 - Charter URC-2910
UMIAUMI0 - Charter URC-4393
10231023 (URC-8204 Kameleon)
10261026 (URC-8203 Kameleon)
10481048 (URC-8210 Kameleon) Rough RDF based on URC-8206
10621062 (URC-7780 Stealth 12).rdf [initial]
30333033 (Atlas 5 PVR w/ Day JP1.3)
10431043 (cOX urc-7820).RDF

I didn't do anything with the maps and images zips though.

No problem. I was just in the process of building version 1.27 so I will make sure I apply it to this file instead of the original.

I'd like to see the Kameleon RDFs make use of RM's device-type specific maps, like the sample here.

This may be the impetus for me to finally undertand how to use MapIt! I've been putting it off for way too long.

I too would like to see this, maybe I'll give it a whirl

I'd like to be able to create my own maps also, is there a write-up somewhere on how you do it?

I've been meaning to try this. Here's my first attempt with the URC-8203. I have images of a few other Kameleon remotes so I can work on a few others.

EDIT: I've noticed something odd. In RM, now with all the ones with multiple maps, there is a additional listing in the list of remote for "URC-Kameleon". I installed URC-8206 and URC-8203 multiple maps, so there are two instances of "URC-Kameleon" in the pull down menu.

Also, where does RM get the name of the remote? The pull down menu for list of remotes used to say "URC-8203 Kameleon", but now with the new RDF with the multiple maps, it says "URC-8203" (no Kameleon).

Nevermind, I figured it out. The underscore in the file name was causing that problem (and that's also where it gets the name for the pull down). I updated the file in the RDF section to take out the underscore in the file name.

greg

I can't seem to make the device specific maps work, I get a series of java errors when I try to open the remote (I gave it a new name to not interfere with my other stuff)

I tried this first with a number of edited maps but when those didn't work, I tried it with the same map for all of the devices (in this file) and get the same result

get the RDF here:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=4534

any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I've always used tabs when I've created RDFs, is this a problem for RM? And if so, why?

It isn't supposed to be, but there's a bug in the parsing of the DeviceTypeImageMaps section

Is that something that you can fix? I know it's not a biggie, but I like using tabs because it makes things line up nicely, and they stay lined up even when you change the decription of the item before the = sign.

It'll be fixed in the next version. Along with the variant name change for Pioneer DVD
