I've just been hunting through a bag of bits I've kept over the last couple of house moves, and came up with two of these old cable remotes. I kept them because I absolutely love the retro look of them. 8) Rolling Eyes Embarassed

Both are quoted as "UC 8650-E0" though one is badged as Scientific Atlanta and made in Singapore and the other is non-branded and made in Korea. I cannot explain how good these buttons feel. Wink

I've found very few online references, but would like to have a go at hacking either or both of these to be JP1 as an "easy" alternative remote to my One For All 6. Just because.

Any info, even how best to crack the little blighters open, would be gratefully received.
