6012 Extender Troubles

I pretty much followed the same formula for the 6012 extender that I did for the 6131 extender, but it does not work:

Basic Stuff I did:
-downloaded ext3 for 6012/8011/8811
-used extinstall to combine a virgin IR save of 6012 with the .hex to create an extended version. I did not use the .rdf's that came with the extender but used the latest .rdfs.
-pressed "power" to activate the extender after every time I uploaded the extender or took out a battery.

Design:
-followed the smithjo design, except minor modification for tv (tv does have discrete on/off but used toadtog with the discrete codes to prevent the tv-display (channel, time etc) from popping up every time CBL or VCR are pressed, the same as I did for the 6131 design that works.

Behavior:
Pressing VCR or CBL sends out some blinks but does nothing
Pressing TV then power often gets me 4 blinks like the extender is being reactivated but does not do anything.
Eventually the remote starts to act like an unextended remote, where TV-power toggles TV, CBL-power toggles cable box, etc.

I uploaded my IR file here, if anyone has time to peek at it.

Possible problems:
-I goofed and have some heinous error in my keymoves or macros (likely)
-Problem creating initial extinstall using the new .rdfs ?
-Problem with extender 3 and 6012 (I know there is a problem with some 8811s)

Many thanks in advance if anyone has time to peek at this.

Cheers,
Steve

I found my problem. :) I did not install the LKP protocol.

When I installed the extender on the URC6131 remote, the 6131 extender came with the LKP protocol, so I mistakenly thought the 6012ext3 would come with it also, and never checked until now.

I went to the extender folder and found the LKP protocol here and installed it. Now everything works.

Sorry to bother you all! I am an idiot! Happy Holidays,

Easy mistake to make and an example of the most common reason that a newly configured extender setup repeatedly deactivates:

A device upgrade used a protocol that wasn't there (or the related problem: KeyMove used a setup code that wasn't there).

Maybe the next person to have a similar problem will read this.
