Dreambox remoteUCR-39370 B00-00

Post by Stickan »

I have such a remote control, but it does not work with my DM7020S. But the TV button workes fine.

Can anybody tell me where to get a working file or how to reset the remote control to original. I think the previous owner havs tried to program the unit.

Thanks in advance :)

1) Press DREAM botton
2) Press and hold SHIFT botton till DREAM blink
3) enter the code from upper post
4) DREAM botton will blink twice - it means code was accepted.

There is a Dreambox V3 UCR-39370 B02 RDF so most likely it is possible to program it via JP1. The Dreambox remotes have a Programming ID lock bit that is probably on for the DREAM device setup code and that's why you can't change the setup code.

Press DREAM once. LED blinks.
Press and Hold SHIFT button until LED blinks twice.
Press 9 8 2. If LED Blinks 4 times then Programming ID Lock for DREAM button is now disabled(i.e. you can change the setup code using standard method). If LED blinks 2 times then Programming ID Lock for DREAM device mode button is now enabled(you can't change the setup code).

It's also possible this remote doesn't have the device setup codes to operate the newer equipment.

Well, when I use the cod 982 it blinks twice, but next time it blinks four times!

It is also strage that it now works with my Force 1189S!?!

A few years ago a nice fello named Starpox helped me and as I can remember he also told me how to reprogram the romote to original, Unfortunately I can not reach Starpox nowdays, and I can not find the e-mails from him.

That is how it works as I explained above; the Lock switches between Enabled(2 blinks)/Disabled(4 blinks).
You want it be disabled so you can change the setup code.

You can do a Factory Reset to default settings:
Press and Hold SHIFT button until LED blinks twice. Release SHIFT.
Press 9 8 0. LED will blink four times.
Your remote is now ready for programming.
