You failed to answer the most important question (in this case). The 15-1994 is most definitely a learning remote. Since you have a learning remote:

(1) Learn as many signals as you can from the original remote to your JP1 remote;
(2) Download the learned signals from the JP1 remote into IR.exe and save the file;
(3) Look at the learned tab in IR and see if the decoded signals match what you use in your upgrade;
(3a) If not, modify your upgrade to match the decoded learned signals; (3b) If YES, continue (4);
(3c) If you can't determine what the decoded data mean, proceed to (4);
(4) Post your learned IR file to the diagnostics section; Post your KM (or RM) upgrade that you are using to the diagnostics section; and Post your IR file with the UPGRADE that you are using to the diagnostics section (If you can Zip them all together in a zip file, that's better, but not required);
(5) Post links to the files you uploaded here.

(6) Wait for someone to take a look and respond.

In that IR file there is:

A single learned signal (on VCR:1s) for NEC1, device 10, subdevice 247, OBC 0.
That matches the power signal in the upgrades I downloaded for the Liteon LVW-5001 and the Liteon 5005 DVDR.

Two device upgrades, one of which is DVD/1505 and seems to match that 5005 DVDR file.

Two protocol upgrades, one of which is Pid 005A, which is used by DVD/1505, which may be the problem.

That device upgrade, DVD/1505 should use the standard pid 005A that is built-in on the 15-1994. It should not need a protocol upgrade. I haven't looked in detail at the protocol upgrade. If it is correct then it is just wasting space. But if it is incorrect it makes the DVD/1505 upgrade fail to work.

Try deleting the protocol upgrade for 005A and see if DVD/1505 starts working.

Even without a language problem, that phrase typically communicates confusion rather than information.

When you have tested a built-in setup code or a device upgrade, you should tell whether any buttons in that setup code have any effect on the device (and if so which).

Doesn't work might mean no button has any effect. But if that is the case, say so explicitly.
Doesn't work might mean most buttons do the wrong functions.
Doesn't work might mean it mostly works but a few details are wrong.

The help you get will be less useful if we must guess between those.

Sorry I can't directly answer whatever it was you are asking above. I can't figure out what you mean. Maybe you can find someone who speaks both French anf English to help you understand this reply and/or restate your questions.

I always have trouble recognising the boundary between failure to communicate and making fun of our helpfullness. This time I won't guess.

Someone (mabe one of the moderators, maybe you) removed the two KM files that were in the post at that point when I first read it.

Please don't include KM files in a post.

If you can explain why we should look at them, include them in the .zip file with whatever other files you want us to look at.

If you think you made a file available, try again.

In your IR file there is a device upgrade for VCR/1158 which is NEC1 protocol dev=10, sub-dev=247. Then you have several key moves bound to VCR/1158 but with different EFC's than those contained in the upgrade. Lastly, there a several functions learned to the VCR device that are also NEC1:10.247. Those learned signals will override the keymoves and upgrade. If those learned signals are actually controlling your LiteOn, you should modify the upgrade in KM or RM to eliminate both the learned signals and the key moves.

Have you read the beginner's how-to yet?

The learned signals will still override the VCR/1158 upgrade. You really need to use the EFC details from the learned signals to modify the upgrade, load an updated version of the upgrade to the remote, and then delete those learned signals.
