The first question is: What remote are you trying to program?

This forum is primarily for JP1 users, and particularly for JP1 remotes (manufactured by UEIC, sold as One-for-All, Radio Shack, and a few others). Withholding the name/model of your remote makes it difficult for anybody here to help.
If the remote is NOT a UEIC remote, it is unlikely that any codes you locate here would be useful to you regardless.

Have you made any attempt to do any of this yourself?
We're glad to help when there are unusual problems. But it would be a big waste of time if we either repeated the instructions from the remote's manual, or incorrectly assumed you already tried those and told you to try advanced things you don't really need.
I'm pretty sure that Samsung TV uses the standard code set used by almost all other Samsung TVs. So if you tried the Samsung TV setup codes from the manual, at least one of them should work.
Sony also is quite consistent about IR codes across models, so the setup codes in the manual ought to work.
Also I think the 8204 is a learning model, with fairly high capacity, so you can learn any signals that are missing.
Before asking for help you should try the basics yourself, and when asking for help you should report what you tried (such as a list of Samsung setup codes that you tried) and what the results were (and "didn't work" is never a clear enough way to report such results. If no button had any effect, say so. If some button had some effect, that's a "partially working setup code").

Have you tried any or all of these built-in Samsung TV codes?
The code(s) you are looking for: 0618 0587 0037 0178 0556 0009 0702 0093 0217 0448 0482 0370 0264 0329 0216 0290 0644 0060 0032 0072 0208 0519 0039 0163 0625 0812
These are straight from the manual and/or
the website.

This is also what UEIC kindly replied to my email about Samsung LE40R51B.
But, it does not really help since I'm unable to find (and I skimmed the download section) the upgrade for TV/0812.
Is there a way to find in the download section a specific code when we known its number?
Thanks
Nick, did you manage to get the OFA working fine with your Samsung TV?

The code referred to above is a built-in setup code. The numbers given to any of the UPGRADE devices in the file section are arbitrary (mostly) numbers selected by each particular creator and neeed not have any resemblance to UEI device code numbers. So it's likely that a Samsung upgrade in the file section is correct for you, despite it having a different setup codes number that 0812.
If you're looking for a code, you are kindly referred to the #1 Code Search FAQ.

TV/0812 uses the NECx2 protocol with a device (and sub-device) code of 7, so if you download an upgrade for a Samsung TV that uses the same info, it's probably a good enough upgrade for you.
There are several other TV codes that use the same protocol and device code, so any one of these might also work:
0060, 0427, 0600, 0618, 0644, 0702, 1060, 1903, 1908

There's no easy process to convert an installed upgrade into a re-usable upgrade file, so your best bet is to post your IR file.

Navigate to the file, then hover your mouse over the link and do a right-click and select "Copy Shortcut", or click on the link yourself, so you're viewing the file description in your web browser, then highlight the URL that is displayed in the address bar, and do a CNTL-C to "copy" it.
Then when you're writing your post, do a CNTL-V to paste the link into your post.
