Hello, I'm a newbie, I'm going to install the extender. My question is, with the extender, can I asign a macro to the device keys. Right now, I use the shift (set) key and device keys to switch my components around. This seems to confuse the family. Instead I'd rather just assign those macros to the device keys without having to press the set key first. Is this possible. I'm assuming all I have to do is copy over my macros and assign them to the device keys. Please advise if I'm on the right track. Thanks

Chris

The short answer is yes you can assign macros to the device keys.

I would recommend that you read the reame.txt file that comes with the extender. The extender changes how the device selection is done so you may have to adjust your macros slightly. It is all explaned in the file.

The extender gives you much more flexibilty in what you can do with macros.
