Just wondering if anybody has used the Coolsat 4000 upgrade file on a Coolsat 5000? I'd like to get a head start on programming my remote, even though the receiver doesn't arrive for a few more days. Also, I'd rather not have to go through creating one from scratch, if possible.
Thanks.

Here is a Slingbox file for the Coolsat 5000. You can import it into RM and create yourself an RM upgrade from that.

I imported the slingbox bin file for the 5000, and saw that the codes were the same as in the existing 4000 KM file in the Satellite Device Upgrade area. However, there were a lot of functions missing.
So, I created a new RM file with codes from both. It seems complete, when compared to the remote in the manual I found online, except for one function. Once I have the actual remote and device, I will add any missing functions, test it, and upload the new file once I know it works perfectly.
