I've had no luck with combo codes. Perhaps you should find a DVD code and a VCR code (use 2 device keys) that work partially, and fill in the blanks with the learning feature.

If you have a learning remote like the URC-8910, you're a JP1 user and you have the original remote, what's stopping you from learning the buttons and creating your own upgrade? (ie, what's the answer to the #10 question)

Thanks Rob, I just had never created one from scratch. Didn't know if the combo thing created any obstacles. I will give it a try and let you know.

We won't know until you learn the signals and see what codes they use.

If someone needs help with a device like this and they don't have an original remote to learn from, the experts here will do some extensive web searches to see if we can find the info, but this is a time consuming process. You have the original remote, so it will just take you a few minutes to learn the buttons and get the answer. It will certainly take you less time than it's taken you to write these posts asking for the info.

Even if you don't know how to create the final upgrade, you can at least learn the buttons and post the resulting IR file as that would give us the info that we need to build the upgrade.
