JP1 Remotes

hi guys this my first post.

i had make a jp1 parallel cable but when i try to connect to my dreambox remote control i have no responce from remote.
i checked the connection on db25 and on flat connector and all it's ok, i try to connect pin 18 and 25 and 6pin fron 18 to 25 but nothing is happned.

I have a toshiba notebook satellite 2410 with xp and sp3 for you wath the real problem?

maked some tests, when the remote isn't connected i have this response: NO response from the remote. make sure your interface is plugged in jp1 correctly

if i connect the remote:

No responce from iterface.Make sure you interface is connected to Pc

I also have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which doesn't work with the current version of IR.exe however I have discovered that it works with the really old 2.03 version. I will try and pull the 2.03 version off of the laptop and post it so you can test with it.

IR 2.03 is way too out of date to be of any use to you, but it will help determine what the problem is.

ok i maked another interface cable and works fine, i reprogram my Remote ontrol now i want to improve the other 2 RC v for my dream RC
