Where are the Key Groups Documented?

Post by Kruskal »

Where can I find the documentation of the URC-8811 key groups. You know, like M_ and O_.

Thanks -- Vincent

In the ReadMe.txt file for the extender.

You didn't say which extender you're using, but I don't think (not sure) this info varies by version of extender.

I just now grabbed the following text from the readme.txt of a randomly chosen version of the 6012 extender:

KEY SETS:
=========

T = Fwd, Pause, Play, Record, Rew, Stop, F_Fwd, F_Rew
V = Vol+, Vol-, Mute
C = digits, Ch+, CH-, Info, Enter, Prev, TV/VCR, Sleep, Fav
M = Down, Exit, Guide, Left, Menu, Right, Select, Up
P = Pip, Move, Swap
O = Power, M1-4, L1-4, Setup, Light, Home-Th, device keys, phantoms

No doubt you can work out what the capital letters stand for but here they are anyway for clarification:
Transport
Volume
Channel
Menu
Picture-In-Picture
