7. Checked the file section? Yes, Zenith-TV-C32A26 works
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes (found something but not sure what to do with it)
9. Partially working setup code? Yes
10. Learning remote question? Are there discrete on & off codes for this old TV?

I don't know that tv. But have you tried 147 auto on and 050 auto off? Not sure those may be some kind of timer functions though.

They didn't work.

I would say most likely there is no discrete for on and off for the tv then. I would think if there was as long as the tv has been around Rob would have found them and have them posted on the advanced codes section of his site.
