I tried doing a search on 6131 and canada and was not able to find my answer...

I live in Ontario and I would like to find a local store that sells the 6131. I have tried a couple wal marts and had no success... Just wondering if anyone knows where in Ontario Canada I can find one. I am in south central ontario, close to Toronto....

thanks

Given that the URC-6131 has been discontinued and replaced with the URC-6131n, I would not be surprised to discover that it's no longer available in B&M stores. Furthermore, you should be aware that any URC-6131s or URC-6131ns that you find in a local store will be the non-JP1 version.

I have modified JP1 ready versions of both the URC-6131 and URC-6131n available for sale, the price is $25 and shipping to Canada is the same as domestic, which is $4.

that is not good... I was hoping to get a looksee at the remote before purchasing.... I have seen pics of the n version and I dont like it....

I also wanted a good look at the button on the remote itself... It would be replacing a cable box pvr... so there are some buttons I would like to see (keep it intuitive for the wife)...
stupid question: that $25 is USD, not CAD, right?

Click here to see a large pic of the URC-6131 and click here to see a large pic of the URC-6131n

Note: the 6131n pic is an artists impression, the THUMBS buttons in the 6131n pic are really CHECK buttons on the actual remote, and yes, all prices are in US Dollars!

Hey I like that 6131n.

Your link is missing the n after 6131 so it points to the same image as the first.

Did you paint a remote to look like that or just the picture? (edit)Nevermind I didnt pay attention to your note above.

Thanks Whomp, I fixed the link. That pics comes from the official OFA brocure that announed the new remotes for 2005, I haven't gotten around to taking a pic of the real remote, but you can get the general idea from the pics that Edmund posted.
