You're in the right forum this time, but if you don't use the mandatory template, you won't receive any assistance.

Esa is an actual tv?

I thought it was a broadcast signal.

ESA is like NASA only in French. Has a habit of crashing small dogs on Mars.

I did a little bit of Googlin' for this TV, and while this site would lead you to believe that ESA is in fact a satellite TV station, I did find a few other references that confirm that it is a real TV set. I even found a model number that you can search for: EF427E.

1. www.remotes.com has a replacement remote available (see pic below)
2. This cached page shows that Circuit City used to sell the ESA but if you check the current site it doesn't appear that they do any more.
3. epinions.com has an entry for it.

Newer OFA remotes list code 0171 for ESA tv's. But OFA TV code 1032 matches the lone ESA tv code in the new URC R5 remote. Tv 1032 is listed for BenQ tv's in the newer remotes.

And just FYI, TV/0171 = Emerson 41. I don't have data for TV/1032.

All of you guys are something else! :o

For a guy (pat mcgroin) who could not be bothered to do some basic preliminary reading and try to comply with some minimal forum rules, and who also hasn't bothered to follow up on his (seemingly) impassioned plea for assistance, look at how much information has already been dug up for him!

I continue to be impressed (despite the rare poster whinging about arrogance and non-inclusiveness).

Perhaps mr mcgroin can be persuaded to help us help him.

We didn't do it for him, it was done out of curiousity as I'd never heard of this brand before.
