The idea of that question was that, if you find a working setup code you should tell us what the code is as that will let us know the particulars of the signal used.

Yes, but it needs a hardware mod.

I'm using code 1109 and the power button doesn't work.

SAT/1109 uses NEC1 with a device code of 0 and a sub-device code of 16, which matches the upgrade for the SIR S75 found here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=1103
The only difference is that the upgrade uses NEC2 whereas SAT/1109 uses NEC1, this would mean that the buttons won't repeat properly using SAT/1109. The code used for the POWER button in SAT/1109 matches the upgrade, so I suspect that the problem is that you need to press and hold the POWER button in order for the device to respond, which wouldn't work using SAT/1109.
Bottom line, if you modify your URC-6131 to be JP1 compatible, you can add that upgrade and everything should work OK.

He's not using code 1109, he probably attempted to enter code 1109 on the PVR device, which didn't take it, and still set to default code of 0618. which doesn't have power command map to the power key, and of course works the Dtivo.

I should have looked at the post closer as I didn't spot that this is a Tivo we're talking about. Thanks Edmund.
