Hi, I think this is pretty basic but I could use a prod in the right direction,

I have raw learned data learned from the FAV key for the remote controling my DCT2244. Since I know what protocol is used it shouldn't be to hard to get the EFC, right?

To help with the quest, I learned another button that I know the EFC for already (in this case channel up, EFC 140). I plugged this EFC in the calculator in IR expecting to find some data in the learned sequence matching one of the result fields, but I don't.

FAV key raw data (EFC= ?)

+9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -130570 +9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -130570

channel up (EFC = 140)
+9044 -4532 +500 -4528 +500 -4528 +500 -2264 +500 -4528 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -2264 +500 -4528 +500 -2264 +500 -4528 +500 -2264 +500 -31286 +9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -89082 +9044 -2290 +500 -130570

protocol GI CABLE. Device Setip 1453

can someone please explain the procedure I should follow to get the EFC for the first set of raw data?

if this is documented then a quick pointer to the right reference material is all I need,
thanks
Brian

Just FYI, whenever you want someone to decode a learned signal for you, you should always post the IR file rather than just the timing data.

However, in this case, I would have expected IR to be able to decode the info for you. So, either you didn't see the decode or you haven't downloaded the DecodeIR.dll program yet.

If your quest is to learn how to decode raw I can be of no help.

If you just want the efc it is 079.
