OK, I've been using my URC-7800 with IR for over a year now. I have everything set up like I want it, however, I would like a way to group together certain keymoves and/or macros in their respective lists.

Is there any feature or way in IR to move keymoves/macros from one location to another?

Thanks, Mike

Just grab one by the index number at the left edge of the line and drag up or down.

Amazing, I never even thought about trying that.

Thanks again,
Mike

There's one other cool way. More involved, but you can do much more, such as search and replace some common notes, or sort things by device or setup code, no limit to possibilities.

Disable the special protocols section in the RDF before you start all this.
Run IR on your C7 file.
Run ECC (Extender Code Calculator).
Copy from IR your keymoves (all in one place now) then
Paste on the keymoves sheet, edit, rearrange, and send it back to IR.
You will need to deal with macros on an extra sheet first, if you want them included in the whole pool.

Ever since Special protocols got onto a sheet of its own, sometimes it's a bit rough to see what goes together. In ECC that picture gets less muddy for me.

Heck, it's more complicated than the terrific dragging method John gave you, but is even more powerful Very Happy
