Using Additional HTPro "IR Blasters" ?

Post by chrisexv6 »

I read thru the previous thread about adding extenders to the HTPro RF base, but I didnt see any information that I thought I could apply (mostly talk about the Xantech box which Id prefer not to purchase).

Basically I wanted to add one or two more IR "blasters" off the output of the base so I could get the base in a better spot behind my closet wall, and still have the IR signal hit the equipment.

Has there been any progress made on this lately?

Thanks!

I can highly recommend the 'Xantech' IR "SPLITTER" boxes.... as they are powered to help boost the week signal to the 'IR' LED.

The best best price I found was at .. HomeTech ...
