Extender Keymoves problem resolved -- Thanks ElizabethD

Just a quick follow up to my problem post. The problem, as I suspected was pretty simple (other than the confusion of the file I uploaded). The real problem was simply that in my attempt to take things one step at time I chose to create a file with only the TV device. Loaded my upgrade file into IR, installed the extender. Uploaded the result to my remote and activated the extender. All looked good. Immediately tried one of my keymoves which didnt work. Tried some others -- they didn't work. Long story short -- after reading the docs again, and scratching my head some more -- I realized that although the LCD dutifully reported that "TV 1000" was the selected device I had never actually pressed the TV button to run the associated macro. 
Sounds simple to you all, I know , but first time out even understanding that "The device keys and MySys key have no built in meaning. You must define macros to have any device selection at all." I apparently didn't understand that you further have to actually push the button to run the macro! I'm back to having fun and should now be able to do what I set out to. Thanks again for taking time to respond. I guess all I needed was someone to encourage me to try again.
