Need codes for DirecTV D10-300 and Sony DVP-S9000ES

Post by trout »

I'm not sure this is the right area to post this, but I need to program my Outlaw Audio 1050 remote to be able to control my DirecTV D10-300 receiver and my Sony DVP-S9000ES DVD player. I looked in the current files and found only one DirecTV file and a few different Sony DVD player files, but none of them matched mine. Your help in this area will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The place you're looking for is "Code Search". It starts with a few helpful files including this ReadMe file:

I don't think the 9000 uses special codes so the standard Sony DVD (built-in) codes will work for basic operation. For creating an upgrade, you could probably start with any Sony DVD file and add to it from the resources here.

I probably should have urged you to use the standard template, but I am particularly prejudiced against this particular Sony machine so I though I'd drop a quick comment before this thread got locked. (shortcomings rant deleted after thinking about it) If you have any questions about the machine, you could post in the hardware section or PM me since I worked on them as an authorized servicer.
Just call me Zaphod (or Steve) --- I never should have started using numbers in a screen name but I just can't stop now.
