JP1 Remotes

I have a OppoDigital OPDV971H DVD player. I also have a URC-9911 B00 remote. I have used the device code from the file section with remote master and key master. Both don't work, very few keys work. Any help?

As this is only your 2nd post, I'm guessing that you're a beginner, so it's quite possible that you made a mistake along the way, rather than the code not working.

If you would like someone to help you figure out what mistake you might have made, please load up all the relevant files to the Diagnosis Area folder, then post a link to them here.

Also, the URC-9911 is a learning remote, so if your Oppo uses a different code to the ones in the upgrade file, you can learn the signals from the original remote and compare them.

Ah ha. I just checked back in the file section. It seems that Oppo changed remotes on newer decks. Original file does not work. Back to the drawing board, learn signals the create new upgrade.

Be sure to post your new upgrade file when it's complete, and let us know what device codes the new model uses.
