JP1 Remotes

i just got an 8910 and when i downloaded the unchanged 8910 into ir, i got extra device names of db-08 to db-15. what are the db items. thanks

They are logical devices. The 8910 can control 15 devices but there are only 8 that correspond to PHYSICAL device buttons on the remote keypad. See "The WHAT and WHY of JP1" in the Yahoo groups Help section for more info. Matter of fact, it's a great read although it may take a few times reading through to get the whole concept.
