It's not really clear what you mean - tell me if I'm right:

You have the Hauppage, and a 32 button remote. You have learned all of these signals and built a working upgrade, correct?

There is apparently a newer 42-button remote that you DO NOT HAVE and you want those extra 10 functions.

Here is where your logic is a bit faulty. An upgrade is NOT for an OEM remote. The upgrade is for the piece of equipment. So your current upgrade is good, you just need to identify a few additional functions to add to it.

If your file search has come up with nothing, then since you have a working setup code/upgrade, all you need to do is test all of the unused EFCs/OBCs and see which ones do something for your DVR. (i.e. assign the "unassigned" EFCs/OBCs in a dummy upgrade (or several) and test them all.)

To be frank, many (if not most) do this automatically upon building a new upgrade, to see if there are any additional useful functions to which a piece of gear will respond that didn't happen to be resident on the OEM remote. Notorious among these are various discrete functions, so such a test ought not be TOO out of the ordinary.

I respectfully suggest that you could have the code search completed before you get any useful answers from various fora. But that's just me.

i started doing it manually with keymoves in ir starting with efc 001 found something new at 006 so far.this might be better then if someone just has the new remote's upgrade not sure if it would have that 006 so i might just check them all.

Toongal did one for the 8810 that was in a zip file that included several upgrades and a custom irremote.ini file. I don't know where that file is now but I think it might have been at Sage. My PC with that file died (motherboad/CPU) and the file is locked up for now.

However, you have all the information you need to build it within the irremote.ini file that comes with the remote application. It tells you that it is RC-5, device 30 (old black was device 0 and the next gray was dev 31). The numbers listed (like 46=Green) are the OBC's for the command. I haven't had a need for it so I didn't build myself an upgrade yet.
Just call me Zaphod (or Steve) --- I never should have started using numbers in a screen name but I just can't stop now.
