Does anyone have any updates for a Philips Streamium SL300i network media player?

5. Still have original remote? Yes
6. Checked the file section? Yes
7. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
8. Partially working setup code? No
9. Learning remote question? Yes

Since you're using JP1 and you have a learning remote, you can learn the signals from the OEM remote and build your own upgrade. If the learned signal decodes don't provide the necessary details, you can upload the saved IR file to the diagnosis area and post a link to it here so someone can take a look at it.

I did what you said, and broke down and created my own upgrade using learned signals. Is there anywhere I can post the upgrade file I created so other people can use it?

Sorry, one more thing... I have one issue with the upgrade I created. One of the buttons uses a different Device Code. One button uses the device code 52, but the rest uses 53. Is there any way I can specify the different device code for that one button? I'm using RemoteMaster to create the upgrade.

As you haven't provided any info about the upgrade (specifically what protocol is being used) I can't say whether there is a combo protocol available or not. When there isn't a combo protocol available, one way that you can combine different device codes into a single upgrade is to use the Device Combiner, but in this case as you just have one button that uses a different device code, I would recommend that you create a second upgrade using the second device code, and then program the one button using a keymove against that second upgrade.

Sorry, it's using the RC-6 protocol. I noticed there were other RC-6 protocols, but I don't understand how to use them.

If I couldn't do this simply, I was just going to have it learn the one button that doesn't go along with the upgrade.

Learning the one button is probably the easiest option, but you should include a mention of this button and the codes is uses in the NOTES section of the upgrade file that you create, just so the next person (who may not have the original remote) will know how to re-create it.

However, if you ever decide to use the extender for the URC-9910, you'll need to create an upgrade for this button to replace the learned signal.
