Hello all,
I have successfully downloaded and uploading using IR to my 9910 remote about 4 times. The last time I tried to upload, the remote's LCD display read MEM FAULT. I was like oh sh**. I then tried to reset the remote to factory defaults using the instructions in the manual. The LCD reads BAD E2. What does this mean? Has anybody else had this problem.
I am using a homemade JP1 parallel cable that has worked fine the first 4 downloads and uploads.

Thanks for the links, but I did see those threads before I posted. After reading those threads, I thought I would post a new thread because I have had successful uploads and downloads. I did not get that impression from the other threads.
Thanks for your quick response. |

The bottom line is this:
If you do an OPS RESET, as described in the manual, the problems will persist.
But, if you do an MFR RESET, as described here, the problems should go away. _________________ Rob

Thanks for the replies. I just kept downloading and uploading to the remote and now everything seems to be working just fine. I think I will do the manufacturer reset just to be on the safe side. |
