Rock Fosgate Omnifi DMS1

Post by jangelj »

1. Device: Rock Fosgate Omnifi DMS1
2. Type of device: digital music sender (mp3)
3. JP1 Remote model: rcu810
4. JP1 user? yes
5. Still have original remote? yes
6. Checked the file section? yes
7. Checked the Pronto file section yes
8. Partially working setup code? no
9. Learning remote question? no

Is there a setup code for this device? I've checked all over and had no luck. If there is not a code is my only option to "learn" all the buttons and create my own setup code?

thanks,
John

That's how all the upgrade files here were created. If you've "looked all over" for a code, in the time you spent doing that you could have created an upgrade already.

Do you have the riginal remote Michael, and if so, do you also have a JP1 learning remote, and if so, are you a JP1 user?

Here is the file mentioned. I have no omnifi to test it with. Reading some of the forum about the omnifi it seems to work. If it works for you the kudos will be to boardlaw at omnifi yahoo for the file.

I have a jp1 learning remote but no cable as of yet (on order). I do have the origional remote but the code they transmitted to me over the phone for my URC 8910 only turns the unit on and off.

The URC-8910 has a modem on board. You can use the JP1 tools to create a WAV file which you can load into the remote via it's modem.

What code did they give you over the phone?
