With no luck in the Code search section
(my original post: http://hifi-rem.ipower.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2636 )
I am seeking to make an upgrade for said stereo.
This is what I know about the stereo:
Made in August 1997, in Malaysia
The micro inside is an NEC mask programmed chip, it runs all of the CD, audio controls, and tuner functions.
A wild guess is other RP798x IR stereos might use the same remote.
It is an AM/FM/CD/Cassette portable/bookshelf stereo.
I would like to know where to start in finding the protocol/device, at least what protocol is used.
I don't want to manually cycle through a handful of protocols, a number of device addresses each protocol, and 256 EFCs each protocol/address. |
