I'm a bit confused. All the buttons look good as decoded by decodeir.dll. John (if you're reading), are we sure that Decodeir.dll computes the check nibble correctly. The decodes are clean and earlier (buggy) versions of the protocol complained about the check nibble.

Jim,

I did take out the repeating that the protocol was doing. Could you at least check that the buttons don't repeat. Paste this in for protocol 0044 in IR.

Maybe I'll get lucky and that was the whole problem Smile

Jason,

You do good work and the price is right.
All keys are functional. The only problem I can find is that the keys
do not repeat the code when held down.

Jim,

Thanks! I'm glad this worked. If I get some time I'll see if I can figure out how to get the frames to repeat. Maybe tomorrow.

Jim,

Give this a try and see if the keys repeat now.

Jason,

The remote transmits repeatedly when a key is held down but no keys are functional. Sad

Jim,

Oops. Try this code. I've loaded it into a remote and learned the signals and they look almost identical to those from the GI-4DTV official (two byte) protocol, so this should work.

Jim,

And if you could try this code as well. It (hopefully) does the same thing, but it's smaller.

Thanks,

Jason M.

Jason,

Rep rate of original remote is 100ms.

Rep rate of long code group is 140 to 144ms.
I thought it was less than 100ms because some keys repeat, looks like
contact bounce. Does not make sense. I did not see any rate less than 140ms.

Short code group is perfect. All keys functional, rep rate = 100ms.
