JP1 Remotes

I recently built the JP1 Simple interface (Paralell Port), and I have .rmdu and .ir files for the Apex AD1110 DVD, Sony STR-DE697 receiver, DishPro 301 receiver (With the exit button discovered by another forum member, Big Thanks Whompus!!) and Sony SLV-D300p dvd/vcr combo. My .ir file is using extenders to give me "smart" device macros for the device buttons at the top of my urc-8811. I have also found discrete workarounds for the on/off, dvd/vcr on the sony combo, and for optical/analog on the sony receiver. Should I upload my files and descriptions of my discrete workarounds somewhere on these forums?

I can't tell from your post whether you created the .rmdu files or used ones that you downloaded from here. If you created them on your own (or added any buttons), please upload them to the File Section.

As for the discrete workarounds, I think it would be better to describe those in a post. Maybe in the general forum. I don't think this group has a section for complete .ir files (like the complete Pronto files at Remote Central). The best place would be the Code Search group.

By the way, thanks for sharing the info.
