I am starting to learn RM after using KM for a while, and I am setting up my ARCAM devices. In RM, for RC5 I have to use 2 device codes; one to get the OBCs < 64 and one to get the OBCs >64. I don't see a similar feature in KM - what am I missing?
thanks,
Dave
RM vs KM RC5 Protocol help

In KM you add 100 to the device number on the setup sheet in order to specify OBC>=64. Then on the functions sheet, you need to pay some extra attention to that detail.
RM is intended to automate that for you (but I haven't looked at the details lately and it has changed a few times). The setup sheet you've already commented on, and the functions sheet is supposed to know how to manages the full range of OBC numbers based on what the upgrade can support as specified on the setup sheet.

IR at the moment, but it does seem to automate the RC5 junk nicely.

Please provide a link to the KM upgrade you are converting, or even better, the converted RM file (if you need a place to put it, use the Diagnosis Area). Also, what versions of RM and IR are you using? Are there any error messages?

Another choice would be to paste into a message (put it inside a code section) what you are pasting from RM into IR.
