I got the distinct impression that seilae just dumped the upgrade from the currenty use an URC-7560 into this urc-7740 and that's why the buttons are coming out in some kind of decent order. I tried to find where I got that impression, but its too much reading for me. |
I asked, if I can use the upgrades from the 7650, but I did nor use them right now.
For the VCR I created an new update with RemoteMaster, and relearned the buttons with the 7650.
Is there a chance that the "Magic" is in the learning with 7650?
I will test the buttons again with an completly reseted 7740 the upgrade, I use is http://www.zweckstetter.de/vrc_on_tv_test.rmdu; the RDF is Version 4 (1715 Bytes) |

Here is what I did:
1. I removed all protocols and devices from the 7740 and ended up with http://www.zweckstetter.de/test7740_reseted.ir
2. I opened a fresh RemoteMaster, and loaded the http://www.zweckstetter.de/vrc_on_tv_test.rmdu
3. I added the device update Code: | Upgrade Code 0 = 06 42 (TV/1602) (RM v1.93)
5C 00 FE FE FE 81 57 FF 7F BF 3F DF 5F 9F 1F EF
6F 97 47 A7 33 03 57 87 93 17 E7 73 53 6B BB 7B
63 F7 77 8F 0F 27 4F B7 37
End |
4. I added the protocol update Code: | Upgrade protocol 0 = 00 5C (S3C80) Proton (RM v1.93)
43 8C 11 8B 16 C5 45 08 08 01 09 00 F5 01 09 03
07 7B 8E 10 7C 08 2A 00 00 00 09 8D 01 61
End |
5. I uploaded the resulting http://www.zweckstetter.de/test7740_updated_vcr.ir to the 7740
6. I tested the tv mode with the VCR and found no errors.
We could doublecheck this issue with a rdf with random ordered buttons. This should produce some button-mismatch.
PS:
Is ist possible that the RemoteMaster or IR.exe has some data cached from the7650. I did change betreen these two frequently in the Tests. |
