Can't Find Setup File

Hi Everyone,

Just getting my feet wet here and need some help. Last Dec I was looking thru the files posted in Yahoo Groups for this forum and found a complete setup file somebody had did for their HTPC. Their setup equipment wise was very similar to what I have. At the time I was not sure of what else I would need, so I did not download the file. Now, I have gotten to the point of downloading the software and can't find the setup file. At the time I was still using a MSI Delta II ILSR motherboard which I could not get into Standby mode or bring out of Standby mode using my keyboard. This is why I now have the Abit AN7.

Here's my System

Abit AN7 Motherboard
Hauppauge PVR250 Capture Card
RS 15-2116 Remote NICE!!!!!!
Win XP Pro
myHTPC for Frontend
Misc Plugins for myHTPC
RCA DRD486 Sat Rec.
Mitsubishi WS55 TV

I read ALOT of GOOD comments on the Radio Shack remote so I was very comfortable with it from the day I bought it. Had Sat. Rec., TV and VCR programmed in a few seconds. I just need to find that setup file so I can start configuring everything into the remote. I remember this file had "myHTPC" in the description and that is what caught my attention to it. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.
Thanks
John

Did you look in the User Configurations at Yahoo? 2116-V2.txt looks like it might be the one you are looking for.
Note that in my opinion a user configuration without the associated device ugprade files isn't very useful.

Thanks

Thanks Gregg,

I was not going to mess with the files until I can work with them a bit. First thing I will do is make SEVERAL backups of my virgin file which I will download and burn 2 cd's and store them in a safe place. Actually the first thing I will do is try a few buttons from my Hauppauge Remote as it is RC5 for mat and have already "LEARNED" a couple of buttons on it just to see if ANYTHING would communicate and program.

Again Thanks

John
