Can anybody recommend a good JP1-ready remote in Canada?

I just realized my OneForAll URC-6017B00 remote is not JP1 ready. I saw in the battery compartment the letters 'JP1' and being the total n00b that I am, thought that is where I plugged the cable in. Needless to say, there are simply 6 holes that mean nothing to me.
Much to my chagrin, I am slowly realizing that I have to buy all sorts of extra parts (like EEPROMs) to get my remote JP1-ready.
I would much rather buy a new remote (this one is about 3 years old anyway) that is JP1-ready 'right-out-of-the-box' for use with a standard JP1 cable from
www.hovisdirect.com.
Any suggestions for a OneForAll for a n00bie that is available in Canada that folks have had good luck with?
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Rob sold ma an 8811 with the cable and he shipped it to Canada.
Check out his list of currently available remotes.
I am just getting started with this too but I have my remote doing what I want (mostly) - I can hit 1 button to watch a DVD and hit another to watch TV. There are a few more tweaks that I need to do as far as button assignments but this JP1 thing is great.
I don't know how to provide a link but I hope you can find it by yourself or if someone would be nice enough to post it in their reply!

I ship to Canada for the same price that I ship domestically (it just takes a little longer for the remotes to get there - ie, about a week) and I also sell JP1 cables too.
The URC-6017 just needs 3 parts soldered in:
1) a 2k EEPROM chip
2) a 6-pin connector
3) a wire across the JMP2 spot
I can sell you the parts for an additional $3 if you buy a remote from me, just in case you want to try your hand at modding your 6017.

Thanks for the offer, but considering I have NO electronics skills whatsoever I'd rather keep things as simple as possible.
Richard is already shipping me a JP1 cable from a couple weeks back...I should have done my research
The 8811 or the 8810 are what have been suggested so far and sound like what I'm looking for though.

Good choice. In the US, Walmart charges a trivial amount less than Rob does for that model, and if you have a cable already you can get the remote faster from Walmart. You might want to check Walmart in Canada, but I doubt that they charge less than Rob does. I'm not even sure they carry that model or what they call it.

Well, I'll head off to WalMart this afternoon!

Talus,
In Canada Wal-mart charges $ 35-37 for the 8811 (red backlight).
I bought one and then I bought several more from Rob,

I don't know if you guys have already gotten remotes but Radio Shack has the 15-2116 remote on sale for $39.99 CDN currently. I think it is on until the end of February.

I just picked up a 15-2116 at Radioshack for $40 (on sale) and made the interface cable in about 5 min using the spare parts I had sitting around.
It works great and I wish all you guys could have seen the look on my friends faces who spent $200 on their Harmony/Logitech remotes!! haha!
I think I'm going to go over to my parents house and take a look at thir Rogers remote because I'm pretty sure that all the Rogers Digital remotes are JP1'able and if so I'll setup a quick how-to for us Ontarians that want free programability!
p.s. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the JP1 site and knowledge base- this is awesome!
