learning Question

Hi everyone, I have the RS 15-2116 JP1 remote. I have been using the JP1 cable fine for a few months. I now have an older Onkyo dx-706 cd player. I do have a remote that works with the cd player, my question is once I get the RS remote programed with the learned signals, how do I convert that to a code to free up the memory. Please point me in the right direction. I am using keymaster and IR.exe currentlly but not fully versed in the programs as of yet.
