JP1 Remotes

I am looking for codes for the following TV.

Device: Samsung TXJ2766
Type of device: TV
Remote model: Sony RM-AV3100
JP1 user? No, but I might buy one if I can get the right code - I am doing research to see if this TV will accept a specific remote code for power off, power on, tuner input, and video input
Still have original remote? No
Checked Yahoo file section? Yes
Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes

I don't know about your specific unit, but Samsung is notorious for being a TOAD (Toggle Only Actuated Device).

Be that as it may, the existence or not of a particular code ought not drive your decision to "go JP1", as virtually ANY IR remote code can be reproduced by a JP1 remote - ocassionally this requires the help of some of the experts here - so IF THE CODE EXISTS, a JP1 remote can reproduce it. Whether it exists is a different question.
