Problem Creating Upgrade for Philips DirecTV TiVo DSR704

Post by mz739x »

1. Device: Philips DirecTV TiVo DSR704/R17
2. Type of device: PVR
3. Remote model: URC-8810
4. JP1 user? Yes, using USB for Filebug
5. Still have original remote? yes
6. Checked Yahoo file section? no
7. Checked Pronto file section no

This is kind of a unique question, that's why I haven't check either of the file sections. I am in the process of creating an upgrade from scratch using the doc 'JP1 - Just How Easy Is It?' - great stuff by BTW. When learning the Instant Replay function from the original remote and entering it into keymap-master-v8.31 and loading it into IR.exe, it won't work. But as a learned function it will. All other functions created seem to be working fine.

It appears that you have assigned the Instant Replay function to the F.FWD button, was that your intention? If you assumed that you had programmed it to the more logical F.REW button and that's what you were using to test it, that would explain why it didn't work.
